The Orchard Cafe hosts artist Diana Braybrook over the two weekends of BEAT.
Diana is a familiar artist on the Ealing scene and is one of the founding members of BEAT. Primarily an oil painter she also enjoys using pastels and mixed media.
“I like to explore different themes in my work, as each presents fresh challenges, but expressive use of colour and light is a key feature throughout. My artwork is the best way I have of seeking out and expressing the positive in life. Each painting is a unique response to a place or experience that I want to share with others.”
Diana trained initially at Camberwell College of Art, London before studying for her degree in History of Art & Architecture at Reading University. Currently resident artist at Osterley Park & House, Isleworth where she uses the Garden Gallery in the left wing of the stable block as a studio and occasional exhibition space. When she isn’t she can be found sharing her knowledge with various students in one of her classes for 4020 Club.
