1. Building your brand online: social media for business – 28th March

A social media workshop for small or medium sized businesses. This session will help you
understand the various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc), and work out which
ones will be most valuable for your business. With practical advice, and step-by-step introductions
to setting up your profiles, this workshop will help you get started online straight away. You’ll also
benefit from Anita’s online support community and resources, and have a chance to connect with
other local entrepreneurs: the ideal way to kick start your business network.
2. 12 steps to building a successful creative business – 18th April

This expert-led session will cover the practical issues every creative business encounters and offer
useful exercises and practical advice. From “what are your talents” to “who are your clients?” to
“how much money do you really need to get started” to “How to keep it legal”, the evening offers
plenty of practical advice on the strategies, tools and skills artists, designers, musicians and creative
entrepreneurs can engage to succeed in business. You’ll also meet other local creatives and have
the chance to look around the raw canvas of the building which will become Ealing Works.
3. Creative thinking for business – 16th May (date TBC)
