During our six week course we shall introduce you to the basics of painting with Acrylics.

You will achieve an excellent and solid foundation in the skills & techniques needed to paint successfully. In a relaxed, supportive environment you will gain the confidence to tackle the paintings you’ve dreamt of, but didn’t know where to start.
Materials: We provide canvas, paint, brushes and easels, in fact all basic materials required for the course are supplied and we advise what you should invest in to continue painting at home.
You need to bring a notebook and pen as the tutors’ sessions are crammed with content and useful tips that you need to jot down to add to your own skill set.
Please note there is no class 14 February as it is half term week.

About the Tutors:
Sam Rough is a practicing artist with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. She exhibits regularly; recent exhibitions include BEAT (Borough Of Ealing Art Trail), “Surface Tension” at the W3 Gallery, Acton and “A Hard Place” at the pop up gallery, Bond Street, W5.
As a qualified teacher, Sam has extensive teaching experience, as well has many years training adults in the private sector. Her courses are relaxed, cover theory & practice and are the perfect combination for students to progress confidently.

Naomi Healy is a practicing artist with a passion for the arts. She is an active member of the arts community and was a founding member of BEAT (the first Borough Of Ealing Art Trail). Elected as the Executive representative for the arts in Ealing (2016-present), she works with a number of groups to raise the profile of the arts in Ealing. She is a founding member of ArtsAgender (a networking group for women in the arts) and founder/author of the ArtsyInEaling newsletter.
She exhibits regularly; recent exhibitions include “Surface Tension” at the W3 Gallery, Acton and “A Hard Place” exhibition at the pop up gallery, Bond Street, W5. She has a BA (Hons) in Art & Design and teaching experience.
