Complete beginner? Haven’t painted since school?

Want to learn a new skill in 2018?

This six week course is for you!

During our six week course we shall introduce you to the basics of painting with Acrylics.

Some aspects we will cover are

  • Choosing materials
  • Properties of acrylic paint & useful mediums
  • Blocking in, underpainting & glazing
  • Understanding basic colour theory
  • Exploring a range of useful techniques

You will achieve an excellent and solid foundation in the skills & techniques needed to paint successfully. In a relaxed, supportive environment you will gain the confidence to tackle the paintings you’ve dreamt of, but didn’t know where to start.

Materials: We provide canvas, paint, brushes and easels, in fact all basic materials required for the course are supplied and we advise what you should invest in to continue painting at home.

You need to bring a notebook and pen as the tutors’ sessions are crammed with content and useful tips that you need to jot down to add to your own skill set.

Please note there is no class 14 February as it is half term week.

Reserve your place on line and we shall contact you to confirm your place and payment options.
