May’s a lovely month; not least because it has two bank holidays and that it has also got a fine dining pop up experience with The Phantom Pig on Friday 19 May.
The Phantom Pig takes us on a gastronomic walk from the sea through the woods and meadows to an traditional English orchard. This month’s menu includes the wonderfully named mushroom “Hen-in-the-Woods” and succulent lamb rump. Not to be outdone by last month’s amazing dessert, Chef Vix has another phenomenal and whimsical delight up his sleeve. As always the evening will be a memorable dining experience.
Our imaginations and taste buds are encouraged to roam freely and will undoubtedly be well rewarded on the night – so book your place at the Orchard Cafe and celebrate the merry month of May.
For those of us who prefer a non-meat option, or vegetarian the team are equally adept at making our mouths water and have us skipping through the meadows to the orchard.
It’s not only the food that has been given such attention to detail, we’ve wine and drinks too. However, if you have a personal favourite and would like to bring your own bottle, please do.
