17 Oct Sunday Walk around South Acton
Joanna Dudzinska arranges walking tours around the Borough which is a great way to get to know the Borough at the same time as meeting new people.
On Sunday 6 November this friendly tour takes you to another part of the borough, Acton.
We will stroll through the changing area, look at the street art and take in as much as possible. Join in whether you want to improve your English, meet new people or do some sightseeing off the main tourist routes.
During the walk you may find out which of the famous graffiti artists is called STIK and why, see the unique abode and vehicle of the celebrated English craftivist, Carrie Reichardt and maybe even bump into her. We will probably also see the place hit by a German bomb, more street art, some wildlife and some gentrification, not to mention Soapsuds Island!
The tour costs £10 per person payable by Eventbrite or on the day (children free but your responsibility).
The walk lasts 11am to 1pm .
